Stamp Simply #115 Mass Production
Happy Thanksgiving! Did you count your blessings today? I'm so thankful that my boys run in the house... it means that they are healthy enough to do that. I'm thankful for the socks, shoes & toys that get left on the floor... it means that my kids have those things. I'm thankful that the alarm will be going off at 3:00 am tomorrow... it means that my wonderful hubby has a job to go to. I'm thankful for the medicines that we have readily available to us... both my son & I have had allergy attacks today. I'm thankful for the men & women who are serving our country, defending our freedoms. I'm thankful for the day on the calendar set aside for us to "give thanks" & I hope it is something that we remember to do frequently!
I was so excited when I saw Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge, was to create a card that could be mass produced easily. I needed one more design for my cards. I got the cardstock cut out for the rest of them, but will put them together tomorrow. I'm going to have to order a refull for my R37 copic, I have used it on so many cards in the past few weeks.
Stamps: Poinsettia Christmas Verve
C/S: Real Red, white
Memento black ink
Copic R37, YR21, circle nestabilities, Swirls Cuttlebug

Double Challenge Card
The sketch is loosely based on the sketch from this week's Crazy 4 Challenges sketch.
The 2nd challenge is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge. We were to make a Thanksgiving card.
We have so many things to be thankful for. At our house, we've been talking about the things we are thankful for. Each night, during our family devotions time we name 5 things we are thankful for & they can't be a repeat from our list from a previous day, but they can be something from someone's list. Last night, I said I was thankful for clean indoor, flushing toilets. Growing up on the mission field, I experienced many horrors in this dept. Both of my boys chimed in & said that it wasn't any big deal, they would be happy to go outside... thankfully we live in the sticks!!! LOL! This morning, I told my oldest to go outside to go to the bathroom... he came back inside & said tonight he is going to say that he is thankful for inside bathrooms too! It was a little chilly this morning! LOL! I hope you take some time to think about some of the things you are thankful for. I read a quote today that will be one of the things I say tonight... I'm thankful that Christ came into the world, so I could enter His." Isn't that an incredible thing?
Stamps: Simple Blessings Unity, sentiment So Grateful Gina K.

Gina K. Customer Blog Hop
Gina K. Designs is having a Customer Blog Hop!!! WOO HOO!!! I chose Nina's Vintage Borders as my set. I stamped the music notes background stamp off onto a piece of scratch paper & stamped it 2nd generation onto my Sweet Corn cardstock. I love the verse from Isaiah in this set. I made the card simple enough that I can mass produce to use for some of my Christmas cards this year.

Elzybells Reindeer
Another card for my thank you's. I got the cardstock cut out, but didn't get them all made. I don't know if you can see the glitter, but it's there! Hopefully, they will go together really quickly since the cardstock is cut. I am missing the challenges, but want to get these cards finished up. I'll be back to the challenges soon!

CAS Christmas Card
I'm trying to finish off a good portion of my Christmas cards this weekend. Almost everything that I have this year, requires coloring. I really do love to color... but, I need 60 thank you cards & to color all of them... well, YIKES!!! I NEED to start in January working on these. Anyway, I decided to make a card tonight without any coloring. I know it doesn't have the same pop of colors, but it certainly went together quickly!!! I will be making 14 or 15 more of these tomorrow.

Potluck Friday
This week's Potluck Friday challenge on stamptv was to create a card using only a sentiment as the background. I thought about this all week. It was definitely a challenge for me!
The next 2 pictures are pictures of my boys. They were helping me with my Christmas cards. They are doing all of the Cuttlebug stuff... not only the embossing folders, but the nestabilities. They loved helping!!! Yesterday was nice enough to have the back door open & my oldest even had his shirt off!!!
My oldest was dancing to Skillet's "Monster" song tonight & ended up smacking his nose against the floor. Yep, it's broken!!! This is the 2nd time that he's broken his nose. I get the wonderful job of "putting" it back in place!!! My hubby thinks it's funny... I don't do vomit, but I can put a nose back in place!!!

Have You Thanked A Veteran?
The Sisters In Christ challenge for this week is to make a card for our troops. Sunday, at our church, they announced that one of the soliders who died at Ft. Hood is from our church. His wife was packing up their household items to move to TX. My heart goes out to them!!! So, make sure you thank a veteran!!

Sisters In Christ Challenge #11
This is the last card from me until Monday, I promise!
When I first saw this challenge last Sunday, as I was reading it my cousin's name came to mind. She has had a rough time recently & I just thought of her. Every time I sat down to make this card, I had more interruptions it was crazy!
This week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge was to create something to show someone that when times are tough, Christ isn't unseen. Since the new challenge will be posted in just a few hours, I decided I just had to sit down & make this card. My phone rarely rings on Saturday & during the card process, I received 9 phone calls. I finally had to turn the ringer off. It was just crazy!!
My cousin hasn't said much, but I know that she's had a lot going on. She just moved into a new place, in a new city. I pray this card brings her some encouragement.

The Etsy Inspired shop this week is Jared in Kansas. The pictures are gorgeous. This is the one I choose: Pink Rain
I used it for my color inspiration. This card did not end up like I had planned. Not at all! LOL! I know I say that alot! I had a different layout in mind & it just didn't come together like I thought. I did pop the rose up using dimensionals.

My stamping time has been limited this past week. My sweet hubby decided we needed to get some exercise. Over the last week we have hiked 32+ miles. We have found a really good trail for us to use, it has a huge incline, lots of steps, & is just over 5 1/4 miles. Yesterday, we ran part of the trail!!! My youngest son has made the biggest improvement, he's almost 6 & at the beginning of last week, he was asking if we could turn around. Yesterday, he ran and ran and ran. We had to tell him to slow down! I hope to catch up on my stamping this weekend!!
