I don't use distress markers very often, they are "messy" & I end up outside of the lines.  January seems to be light on birthday/anniversary cards, but need a lot of thinking of you cards.

KJ's CAS challenge this week, is travel themed.  Right before we moved, I pulled out this stamp from The Cat's Pajamas & tucked it into my bag.   I realized that I didn't pack enough sentiments though.  I'm still a day behind in the Daily Coloring Challenge.  I'm pleased with the cards I've actually been able to get in the mail, so I'll count that as a #smallvictory

I combined the 30 Day Coloring Challenge with this month's Power Poppy's Power & Spark challenge.  I'm a day behind the 30 Day Coloring Challenge... in the past I would be frustrated that I was already behind, but this time I'm trying to take a different approach... afterall, I have yet to finish a 30 Day Challenge.

Some people know that we moved from Okla to Texas over Thanksgiving weekend.  We have moved into a temporary house, so 99.9% of our belongings are still in storage.  I packed a good amount of stamping supplies to bring with me, but there have still been stamps I wanted to use that are packed or do a certain technique & have most of the required items in storage.  I could go purchase more stuff, but I will have access to my stuff in a short period of time.  And then I have to move the stuff from here.  So I've been trying to use what I already have!  I love the fact that this image is a digi stamp, so I have access to it whenever I need it.   I think I miss having my lighting set up the most!

CAS463 Snowy Hugs

This week Lee challenged us to make a card featuring unique colored snowflakes ~ CAS463  I made a black snowflake embossed panel & couldn't get it to photograph very well.  My panel is a little more green than what the photograph shows.

2018 Stamping Goals

So it's been a few days since I said I was going to post my stamping goals.  I am hoping that by posting this, I'll be a little (ok... a lot) more focused on crossing them off of my list.

*Mail cards out ON time.
*Stay 2 weeks ahead on CAS DT cards
*Participate in one Christmas card challenge a month-- I sent cards AFTER Christmas *roll eyes*
*Participate in 1 weekly challenge
*Blog 15 cards per month-- it was amazing how many cards didn't get blogged last year

My goal is to do a monthly check in & see how many of these goals I'm able to accomplish.

Thinking of You

Happy New Year!!!  I have most of my stamping goals written down, but I'm still thinking about one.  I think I'm going to share them tomorrow & then do a monthly check in.   I used to send out a lot of thinking of you cards & for some reason the past few years, I have ended up donating most of my cards.  This year, I want to get back to sending out several thinking of you cards a month.
