Cardz 4 Galz #127 Kraft

It's time for a new chalenge at Cardz 4 Galz.  The theme is stamping on kraft. We'd love to have you join us!  I stamped the snowman background in white pigment ink & then embossed it with white emobssing powder.  I'm certainly not ready for the warm weather to go away, but I am trying to get a head start on my holiday cards.

Peony Song

There are a couple of summer stamps still on my list to use before the summer is over.  This stamp is called “Peony Song”.  It’s hard to believe that we are at the end of July already!  Thankfully, living in TX means my warm weather will last awhile longer!    I’m entering this in the Allsorts — Flowers All Over Challenge.

The July Penny Black & More challenge is Anything Goes/In the Garden It seems like it was just the 1st of July.  I used a stencil for the background & some acrylic paint & a toothbrush for the splatters.  I find I have way more control that way rather than a paintbrush.

Thinking of you

July’s The Flower Challenge theme is summer/winter.  I chose to go with summer.  We are at the middle of July & it doesn’t seem like summer is on its way out.  Thankfully, because I live in TX, we still have months of warm weather left.  I combined it with Ellen Hutson’s Summer of Stamping.
