We haven't seen any of the white stuff but it has gotten chilly. I haven't turned on the heater yet, but I don't dilly dally around in the morning!!! *grin*
Did you go shopping today? I wasn't going to go out, but my boys kept talking about what we did last year. So, we did get out. We waited until 10am & missed most of the crazies. :D
I made another red & green floral card to use for December birthdays. I also pulled out the eyelets for this card... I don't use them very often & yet I still can't get rid of them. 
The challenge on Stamptv was to CASE Emily. I kept the layout, but changed the dp, the stamp set & the colors.
Every year, I tell myself I am not going to be in this situation... ya know... the one where you have more birthday, Christmas, thank you, etc. cards all at once... I have some of my cards made, but right now I am thinking that direction. 
Okay, so I didn't wait very long before making the shift to Christmas... but it's what came to mind when I saw the challenge. *grin*
Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving?! I decided I better pull out a fall stamp & use before it's time to shift gears. 
I made this for one of the HYCCT challenges on SCS. The challenge was to make a project out of our comfort zone. I chose no coloring. I couldn't even tell you how long it's been since I haven't colored when making a card. 
The Pink Elephant challenge this week is to use embossing... dry or heat. I decided to ink up this Hello Cupcake stamp.
Lee challenged us to make a project using 11 for 11-11-11. 
My boys are blessed in so many ways. They have incredible men in their lives... strong men, men of integrity, men who are leaders, men who pour into their lives. Today, we want to say thank you to one of those men. We met Mr. Jay at our lifegroup at church. We got to spend time with him & his wife, before they took an assignment to D.C. 
It release time at Flourishes!!!! The challenge for today was to create a project using red, white, & soft green. 
Isn't this Pure Innocence girly so cute???! I love the fact that they are so easy to paper piece. 
The challenge was to create a collage type project. This stumped me for a little while & then I remembered this stamp from Penny Black. I bought it & haven't used it. It came in handy! *grin*
I'm still trying to finish up the HYCCT challenges. You'll be seeing pink from me for a little while longer & then I hope to be using some other colors! *wink*
