Double Challenge Card

The sketch is loosely based on the sketch from this week's Crazy 4 Challenges sketch.

The 2nd challenge is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge. We were to make a Thanksgiving card.

We have so many things to be thankful for. At our house, we've been talking about the things we are thankful for. Each night, during our family devotions time we name 5 things we are thankful for & they can't be a repeat from our list from a previous day, but they can be something from someone's list. Last night, I said I was thankful for clean indoor, flushing toilets. Growing up on the mission field, I experienced many horrors in this dept. Both of my boys chimed in & said that it wasn't any big deal, they would be happy to go outside... thankfully we live in the sticks!!! LOL! This morning, I told my oldest to go outside to go to the bathroom... he came back inside & said tonight he is going to say that he is thankful for inside bathrooms too! It was a little chilly this morning! LOL! I hope you take some time to think about some of the things you are thankful for. I read a quote today that will be one of the things I say tonight... I'm thankful that Christ came into the world, so I could enter His." Isn't that an incredible thing?

Stamps: Simple Blessings Unity, sentiment So Grateful Gina K.
C/S: Always Artichoke, Pumpkin Pie,
DP: unknown

A card a day keeps the mojo flowin'... until tomorrow!

  1. Very lovely card -- and a great story on thankfulness -- I'm thankful for inside toilets too -- (I was raised on a farm).

  2. Oh Misti did I chuckle at your post. What a great mom moment sending oldest outside to do his 'business' to help him appreciate the little things like indoor plumbing. I have rarely had to indulge in an outdoor facility but heard enough stories from my dad's childhood to be thankful for that as well, thanks for the reminder. Cute card, I always like orange and pumpkins.
