Stamp Simply Black Friday

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your day was a fantastic one! My family has been talking about being thankful, for the past few weeks we've randomly said, "I'm thankful for..." throughout the day. My youngest came inside this morning & said, "I am so thankful that I have shoes!" Yes, we have so many things to be thankful for.

This week's Stamp Simply challenge is in honor of Black Friday. We were to use black on our project.

Odd Thank you

One of the new release challenges on Stamptv was to create a card & incorporate odd numbers. I had a friend call in desperation. She is in charge of thank you notes for a major fund-raiser. She is going to need 120 thank you notes. Her request was quick & easy. I paired this challenge with the Crazy 4 Challenges which was to create a square card. This is a 4 x 4 card.

I had a migraine last week that just would not go away. I'm a little behind in my challenge. This is card #26 of my 31 challenge.

Gina K. DT Challenge & Blog Hop

This month's theme for Gina's DT Challenge & Blog Hop is favorite fall memory. Fall around our house means FOOTBALL!!! :D We are a house divided, hubby & I wear our team colors with great pride! We may cheer for different teams, but we do enjoy our favorite football snack... apples with caramel. Not the ones with the whole apple & caramel around the outside of the apple with a stick, no there's not enough caramel on those!!!! You have to cut up the apple & dip the slices into the caramel. yummmmmm!!!!! I colored a few apples golden because all 4 of us have a different favorite variety of apples. And we never turn down Apple Crisp, Apple Bread, Apple Cake... :D :D

ssnotime155 Falling Leaves

I made this for this week's Stamp Simply Falling Leaves challenge. I'm still not ready for Fall, but I'm trying!!! I am ready for football season, though!!!! BOOMER SOONER!!!

My friend Amanda has asked me to join her in a challenge. We haven't ironed out all of the details yet, but we will be starting Sept. 15. It is loosely based on THIS Some of the ladies that she works with are doing this for 31 days starting the 15th. Once we get all of the details figured out, I will do a couple of posts so you guys can help me stay accountable! *grin*
