MTSC69 A tad out of my comfort zone

I'm feeling a little out of my comfort zone. I need a birthday card for a 4 year old girl. Now, I know this will come as a complete shock to some of you, but I don't have that many stamps for little girls! LOL! I don't even own pink stickles!!! I had to use crystal stickles on the pink ice cream. I used this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge

We found another snake in the yard today... I didn't include a picture of this one. I know some of you will appreciate that!!! *wink*

Stamps: Sprinkled with Love Taylored Expressions, sentiment Hero Arts
C/S: Rose Romance, Dark Chocolate, white
DP: Basic Grey

MTSC68 Sympathy

A friend of mine called me today... she's a hospice nurse & one of her patients died overnight. She needed a sympathy card & couldn't find one to meet her requirements at the gold crown store she was standing in. She wanted a green & purple polka dot card with yellow accents & purple violets. Could I create something to fit the bill? Since I just *love* purple, I wasn't sure that I would have any purple polka dot paper. I thought I was going to have to make my own, but I did find this little scrap of Almost Amethyst dp.

I made this to follow Mercy's Tuesday Sketch

Stamps: Violet Cupcake Lockart
C/S: Almost Amethyst, New Leaf, white
DP: Almost Amethyst
New Leaf ribbon, copics, lemon pearls, circle nestabilities

MTSC66 Easter Blessings

I made this for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge I cut out the daffodils & popped them up. The sketch is a square, so I had to put part of the white panel in the Cuttlebug & then do another little strip. Thankfully, the daffodil panel covers up the overlap area. :)

Stamps: Sending Sunshine, Spring Florals Gina K.
C/S: New Leaf, Lemon Drop, white
copics, New Leaf ribbon, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug, punches

Please ignore the glare on the card. I'm in a hotel room, stamping with my good friend Lee Murphy & the lighting in here isn't very good! I put my card on the window ledge to get some natural lighting.

I made this for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #56 challenge to use scallops & for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challege #63.

MTSC44 S is for Sledding

Swine Flu

I just want to say, that I realize the H1N1 flu is a very serious flu virus, especially for certain people. But, when I saw this image, Swine Flu, it made me smile. I need a better sentiment for it though. I haven't jumped on the digital stamp bandwagon, but I did have to buy this one.

The sketch is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch I'm not used to making long cards, so this was a definite challenge to me.

MTSC39 Mercy's Tuesday Sketch

It's time for another Mercy's Tuesday Sketch

I loved this sketch & the fact that as soon as I saw it, this idea popped into my head!!! LOL! I used Happy Harmony again. My Mom & I were having a conversation today about sending out birthday cards that are the colors of the season. Here's another Happy Harmony card for you, Mom! ;)

I'm not sure what company this dp is from, that is the bad thing about cutting the dp into 6x6 squares. I used Really Rust & Old Olive cardstock & markers. I colored white grosgrain ribbon with my Old Olive marker. It looks a little darker in this picture.
