With Sympathy

I found out today that a friend of mine's husband died yesterday. The tears have been falling very easily since I found out. My thoughts & prayers have been going out to her & her kids. They do have the comfort that he knew Christ as his personal Savior & is in heaven.

PSX Geranium

This morning was a gray, rainy morning & about the time I was going to wrinkle up my nose I looked out on the deck. I saw my red geraniums... they seemed to be a lot brighter against the gray backdrop!!! I just had to stop & say a prayer of thanksgiving. I am so glad that God created the world in color!!

My 31 card challenge is slow going. This is card #5 & I used 2 sets... PSX Geranium & the sentiment is from Gina K's Spring Florals. I have been struggling with insomnia & my mojo is non-existent when I'm running on 2 or 3 hours of sleep!

MTSC66 Easter Blessings

I made this for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge I cut out the daffodils & popped them up. The sketch is a square, so I had to put part of the white panel in the Cuttlebug & then do another little strip. Thankfully, the daffodil panel covers up the overlap area. :)

Daisy in Navy & Yellow

I was chatting with a friend earlier & mentioned that I wasn't feeling any of the challenges tonight. She suggested "my" daisy! *wink* I was shocked because she gives me a hard time about my daisy, just like I give her a hard time about pink. She challenged me to pair it with navy. I had this panel left over from Gina's Inspire challenge, so I used it with the navy. I asked her if it was okay to use 8 brads on a card... she said, "Have I not taught you anything?!" Now, I know that was her PC way of saying, "Ummm... 9 brads, not 8!!!" *wink* Well, I just couldn't get 9 brads on here. BUT, I did pop up the sentiment!!!! :)

I have had so much fun with this Spring Florals set. Usually, I get a set & use it a few times before it's time for another release. Eventually, they get used... but this time I've used this set quite a few times. Guess that means I'm especially ready for spring! *wink*
