Inspired by Cat

Cat, from the Gina K. DT has inspired this card.  She has used kraft cardstock one several of her recent cards.  I have kraft, but I don't reach for it very often.  After seeing her beautiful cards using kraft, I decided to pull it out & make a card.

I haven't made as many cards during this "No Spend August" as I wanted, but this card continues the trend.  I pulled out an old favorite & paired it up with some *gasp* purple cardstock.  It's another goal for the month to use up what I have.  I tend to go with my favorites all the time & then end up with the yucky colors (in my opinion! *wink* ).  This card didn't make a dent in my purple stash, but at least I used some of it!

This was harder than I thought... I have used 2 different stamp sets. That means, these 2 can not be used again during this challenge. {Gulp!}

STVCOLORGK1 Color Challenge

Gina is hosting this week's color challenge on Stamptv!!! The colors are yellow, brown & ivory.
I'm still not ready for Fall, but I guess I'm going to have to start thinking that way!!! I also used my first Distress Ink on this card. Eeeks! I'm in love!!! I will be adding more to my collection!

Inspiration Fruit

I pulled out 3 colors from the inspiration photo on Stamptv. .. the purple, green & yellow.

My hubby has been home 11 days & I have stamped more than I have in a long time. Of course, our whole routine has been off. The alarm hasn't been going off in the wee hours of the morning. I've been staying up waaaaay later than normal. Next week things should start getting back to normal.
