Crazy 4 Challenges C4C45 Red, Black & White

I read this challenge on Saturday & was really excited... Red, White & Black... right up my alley. I had the hardest time getting the card to come out right. I've had several different versions, with several different sets. I was super excited tonight when I got this to come together... then I went to the Crazy 4 Challenges blog & realized that I CASE'd a card from Lynda OY!!!! I guess that means I really liked her card! *smile* Thanks for the inspiration, Lynda!

C4C30 Sketch & Melanie's Scrap Challenge

This week's challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog is a sketch challenge. I paired it up with Melanie's Sketch Challenge.
She challenged us to make a card using the scraps that we had on our desk.


This card went together fairly easily. I needed an easy card after the excitement we had today. Our hot water heater caught on fire. I had to call the fire dept & quickly move the cleaners from the shelf so they didn't catch on fire!!! The firemen said we were extremely lucky that it didn't do any other damage. Then the electrician came out to remove & replace the burnt one, he said if I hadn't been home, it would have been a major diaster! I normally am on my way to the PO to mail ebay packages & was behind schedule. Praise the Lord!!

March 20 & C4C29 Happy Spring

The bottom picture is a personal picture. We got a "trace" amount of snow today. Look at how green our grass is! Hubs is going to have to mow soon, there are parts of the yard that are really thick already. Yesterday, our temp was 70!!!

The theme for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges is to think spring. I was in the mood for some red tulips, so I reached for this image. It is from a retired SU! set that I sold many years ago. This is the only stamp in the set that I ever used. Someone in the SCS Wish Rak group was nice enough to send me some images.

I have had so much fun with this Spring Florals set. Usually, I get a set & use it a few times before it's time for another release. Eventually, they get used... but this time I've used this set quite a few times. Guess that means I'm especially ready for spring! *wink*

This is for the sketch challenge for Crazy 4 Challenges #20 & also squeaking under the wire for this week's Stamp Simply Challenge. It was to use a floral theme & spring time colors. I know that pastel colors are typical of spring, but I LOVE red tulips. When a friend of mine called today to say that she saw red tulips for sale at the store, I was motivated to create a red tulip card.

Double Duty Card

This is a double duty card. For the Crazy4Challenges theme this week was to use polka dots. The Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge #20 was to make a card for a new baby or a new life in Christ.

When my boys saw this card, my youngest said, "Ewwww, pink, I don't like none of it!" My oldest said, "Why do you have to make a pink card?" Pink is not a favorite color in this house!!! LOL!!!

Crazy4Challenges Week 15-- Snow

This is a double challenge card. The Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge for this week was to create a card with a package on it. The border punch at the bottom was for this week's Crazy4Challenges Punch Happy Challenge.



Both of my son's have birthdays in the next 10 days. Their birthdays are 2 days apart. My oldest son LOVES turtles. I had this stamp & others on my stamp table Monday & he saw it. He immediately grinned & said, "You are making my card!" I tried to shrug it off & ask why he thought that. He rolled his eyes at me... my son would never roll his eyes at me, he gets that from his dad's side of the family! *wink* Anyway, he said that he knew that it was for him because it was a turtle. I've been sneaking around trying to get this finished & every time I turn around he's there. I had to take my copics into the bathroom to color it. Maybe I can keep this a secret until his birthday... maybe!

Savior Reigns Take 3
