Lee's Challenge for the Sept Gina K. release was to use one stamp set. One or more stamps to create a background & one stamp for the focal image. I used the Botanicals stamp set. This is also for Sharon's Stamp Simply challenge~ 3 is the number. 
I made this for this week's Stamp Simply Falling Leaves challenge. I'm still not ready for Fall, but I'm trying!!! I am ready for football season, though!!!! BOOMER SOONER!!! 
My day did NOT go as planned... *sigh*... But, when it was all said & done, everything on my list got accomplished... including getting a card made. So, it ended well! *smile*

The tulips are long gone here in Oklahoma. They only last a few short weeks & then it gets too hot for them. Yesterday we reached 93!!!! 
This week's Stamp Simply Challenge is to think Easter. I'm loving this daffodil stamp from Theresa's new set from Gina K. Can you believe that Easter is early this year? 
I have a confession to make... I. HATE. purple! When I read Gina's challenge that we had to use 2 of her new colors I almost groaned outload! You see my relationship with purple is bittersweet. It was my Gran's color. I made cards for her every year & they were all purple. After she died, I haven't used purple very much. In fact, when I saw the purple that Gina released I didn't order it... after all I'm not going to need it. (just keepin' it real! *wink* ) I remembered that a card kit came with the Spring Florals set that I ordered... big sigh of relief that it had the Vibrant Violet & the Lovely Lavender in it. But, there was only enough for 3 cards... so I have been super careful with the cardstock, trying to make sure I cut correctly, etc. I wanted to put a punch on this card & realized that I only have one piece of Vibrant Violet left. So, I punched from the Vibrant Violet base panel, you can't even see that there is a punch hole in it & I have one panel left to use on another card. 
The Gina K. new release challenge over at SCS was to use 3 buttons on our card. The Stamp Simply Challenge was a color challenge-- purple & green. I decided to use the iris' again & use darker colors of purple & green than I've used before. 
This is for the sketch challenge for Crazy 4 Challenges #20 & also squeaking under the wire for this week's Stamp Simply Challenge. It was to use a floral theme & spring time colors. I know that pastel colors are typical of spring, but I LOVE red tulips. When a friend of mine called today to say that she saw red tulips for sale at the store, I was motivated to create a red tulip card. 
This week's Stamp Simply #121 challenge was to create a card using a heart. Sharon suggested we use something from our stash. After thinking about this, I can't remember if I've ever used this Cuttlebug heart... and not just this year... ever! I'm so glad she suggests we use something from our stash. For some reason, this month my wish list is WAY over my fun money budget. But, I have a ton of items in my stamp area, like this Cuttlebug heart that I haven't used or have used very little. I'm trying to focus on those things to keep my mind off of the new things that I want. LOL!
This is another double challenge card. This week's Stamp Simply challenge #119 was to create simple Christmas thank you's. The sketch is from this week's sketch challenge on Stamptv.
I enjoyed this week's Stamp Simply challenge. It was to use snow as part of the card & to keep it simple. Thankfully, we haven't had any of the white stuff here so far & that's perfectly fine with me. I'm not a fan of it at all!!! I don't think I've used this stamp, I've always used the tree. The color on my screen looks a little dark, it's Enchanted Evening from Papertrey Ink.
The Stamp Simply challenge was to create a card that was square & only used square images. My card is 5 x 5. I've been working on Christmas cards & am a little low on birthday cards right now. 
I combined challenges on this card. The sketch is this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge The theme for Sharon's Stamp Simply was to use leaves. 
I couldn't get the lighting right on this card. 
The theme for this week's Stamp Simply challenge was to create a halloween card or a card with a pumpkin on it. I decided to go with the pumpkin. 
Yikes! It's almost time for another Stamp Simply challenge. I'm realizing I'm becoming a challenge junkie. There are a ton of challenges out there & not enough time to get them all completed!! LOL!!
This week's Stamp Simply challenge was to use polka dots. I have used polka dots a lot recently, so this was a lot of fun. I LOVE black & white polka dots!!! I used Real Red & Basic Black as well as the black & white polka dot dp. I haven't used Simply Said in a long time, so I decided to pull it out. The sentiment is from Papertrey's new Autumn Abundance set.
