I made this card for this week's sketch challenge on Stamptv. I have some pink flowers in my yard that I colored these to match. I also have purple Iris blooms, but I decided after the purple card yesterday that 2 purple cards in a row was pushing it a little! *wink*
I've been looking through my stamps... this is one that I haven't used. This week's Color Throwdown #90, is Barely Banana, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry & Pale Plum. I can honestly saw that I have never used these colors together. 
I'm finally getting around to getting a card made for this week's Card Patterns Sketch 61 -- I am so behind on challenges. I guess that's good... I have plenty to choose from! LOL!
I love this image!!! :D We were supposed to have rain today, so I thought it would perfect... it didn't rain, but oh, well! I've been hoarding this dp from Cosmo Cricket. I didn't have any ribbon that would work, so I colored a cream colored twill ribbon with my B97 copic marker. 
Lee asked me to make a sample for her color challenge. The color challenge for the Gina K. release is turquoise & yellow + one neutral. I cut out the butterfly & popped it up.
The Creative Belli Challenge #89 was to use die cut shapes on your card. I still need a few more Mother's Day cards, so I decided to make this one a Mother's Day card. My May is packed with birthdays, thankfully we don't have any graduation cards. 
The Inspire challenge on stamptv this week was to make a card that would make someone smile & then to send it out. I have a friend who is going through some uncertainty in her job. She loves sunflowers, so she will get a big kick out of this card.
