It seems like I just finished making birthday cards for January & it's already time to make Feb. cards! 
One of my goals for this year is to make 5 cards with each new set that I purchase... BEFORE I order more. I used a gc from Christmas to order this carnation set from Papertrey. This is card #1. 
Making this card was quite the ordeal!!! I have a big, office paper cutter & with my shoulder I am not able to cut my cardstock. I would line up the cardstock & one of my boys would pull down the lever. It mostly worked! *wink* I pulled out a piece of c/s that was already cuttlebugged (is that a word?) I definitely can't use my Cuttlebug right now. My boys were laughing so hard watching me stamping. They said they needed to put it on youtube! (not!!) I used 3 colors of stickles on this!!! 
The challenge was to use an image that was entertwined. I pulled out these cute changito monkeys. *grin*
I made this for the sketch challenge on Stamptv. Can you believe that it's been 24 days into the new year & this is the first time I've pulled out this daisy?? I'm still pulling out things from my stash to use. I have placed one order, using a gc from Christmas... but I'm still waiting on it to arrive. 
Where did the week go? It's time for another Forgotten Stamp Friday I needed a sympathy card & when I saw these tulips, I knew that they would be the image I used. Several years ago, a friend of mine took several beautiful pictures of tulips & gave to me. I've framed them & now have them in my craft area. Every time I see tulips, I think of her. I stamped my sympathy message on the inside. 
Tonight on SCS is a mini Virtual Stamp Night. I am hostessing a challenge for the main VSN in February, but I've been working on samples for tonight's challenges. One of those challenges was to paper piece 2 different images. The frosting & the cupcake paper are both paper pieced.
