CAS365 Welcome Spring!

Power & Spark: Switch Up Your Shades

This month's Power & Spark challenge is all about switching up your coloring medium.  Before heading out the door last week, I had a little bit of room in one of my containers.  I grabbed some of my distress markers & the water brush.  When I saw this month's Power Poppy challenge, I was so happy that I had them with me.  I LOVE Marcella's designs & use them a bunch, but life happened last month & I didn't get to play.

I had a hard time getting the sparkle to show up in the top picture, so I took another picture to show it off a little better.  

The current House Mouse & Friends Monday challenge is ~ Love All Around.  And for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge, I went straight across the top row ~ Love, Add Shimmer, Hearts  They also have a fun sketch that I hope to use soon.

Odd Dog Valentine

This week I'm in a hotel room, 1,300 miles from home.  I knew that I was going to spend a good chunk of my week here stamping, so I brought some stamping supplies with me.  I was able to put this card together pretty quickly because I didn't have too many choices!  I only have one dog stamp with me, so I knew as soon as I read the description of the Paper Players challenge exactly which stamp I would use!  I also combined this with Ellibelle's Critters & Creatures Linky party.
