Christmas Treasures

I used this image several years ago & stamped it in black even, but I changed it up for this year's card.  My list of cards that I have sent out in year's past is somewhere... sigh... so it's a good thing I'm changing it up!  LOL  I'm hoping that by not mass producing my cards this year, I can focus on one card a day & actually get cards mailed out. Although, today there wasn't a line at the PO, so I will probably wish I had my cards made before now!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  I hope today was a good day for you.  We had a low key day at home.  Kevin announced tonight that it was ok to listen to Christmas music.  My boys said he sounded like my dad!  LOL  Of course, my mom has been watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel for a month.   I reminded them growing up our tree went up Dec. 1.  I think I'm ready to start getting in full Christmas mode with my cards.

Thinking of You

Your Special Day

Day 8 of my 30 day challenge.  One of my boys asked me today how I was determining if "it had been awhile" since I used a stamp.  I told him if I couldn't remember using it, then it counted.  He looked at me with a look that said something like "well, that's last week's stamps."  But he wisely just winked &  left.  I have NO idea where he gets that from!  *grin*

CAS404 Butterfly in Blue

This week's CAS#404 challenge is to be inspired by Salvador Dali.  He has several paintings that feature butterflies, so that's where I came up with the butterflies.  I also wanted to use a technique background to make it seem more "artistic".   My background is the salt technique.  It's also my 7th day in a row of using stamps that haven't been used in awhile.

HMFMC#230 Color Challenge

The current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge is a color challenge....  Purple, Turquoise & 1 neutral.  I chose gray as my neutral.  I haven't inked up this stamp in awhile so I thought it was a good time to bring it out & get it inky.  Our temps are still in the mid 80*'s, but we are supposed to get a "cold" front over the next few days.  Since I'm such a whimp when it comes to cool weather, I'm going to feel like getting cozy with some warm clothes!  LOL
