GKDCTSEP10 Recipe Card

This card is for Cat's Sept Release Challenge. It was a recipe swap...
RECIPE:
1. NO DP ALLOWED!! If you know anything about me, it's that I have a fear of Designer Paper! I have a very hard time using it. so that is why my challenge to you includes this!

2. ONE LAYER!! That means, a card base and ONE other layer...it can be dimensional like mine sample if you wish!

3. TWO ROUNDED CORNERS! Just as stated...two corners must be rounded on the CARD BASE.

4. and last....at least THREE blings on your card! I have used some gold pearl stickers on mine!

I couldn't get my corner rounder to cut through the cardstock, so I used the ticket corner punch.

Spring Flowers

I made this card for this week's sketch challenge on Stamptv. I have some pink flowers in my yard that I colored these to match. I also have purple Iris blooms, but I decided after the purple card yesterday that 2 purple cards in a row was pushing it a little! *wink*

Double Duty Card

I used the color challenge on stamptv & the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge for this week was to use stitching. Faux stitching is my speed, so I did that on my card! LOL!

Technique Challenge

This is really lame, I know! The technique challenge for last week on stamptv was sewing. My sewing element was the stitched ribbon on this card. I used 2 different Cuttlebug folders instead of patterned paper. Dark chocolate & pumpkin spice cardstock, colored in those pumpkins with copics. Super easy!!

CASE'ing Cat

The potluck challenge on stamptv was to CASE a member of the DT. I've already participated with one card, but I wanted to do another card. Cat had a heart attack recently & just got to go home today. I wish her a speedy recovery!

Stamptv Color Challenge

Today's color challenge on stamptv was to use green, black & white on your card. For some reason, masculine is what popped into my head when I thought of the colors. I pulled out the Signs of Autumn kit & used the leaves. It was HOT, HOT today & did not feel at all like fall is in the air. I'm glad I can use this image & it not feel like an autumn card.
