This week's Fusion challenge was the perfect inspiration for the sympathy card I needed.  I used the sketch & the colors from the cupcake & the white dots on the frosting as my inspiration.

Yellow Roses 10/100

I went to my scrap box for this card.  The goal of the 100x100 is to use up your stash.  I'm 10 cards in & I really can't tell that I've made a dent in my cardstock or dp!!!  It will be interesting to see the results of this challenge as I go along.

Flourishes Black & White Birthday Celebration

Flourishes is having a birthday celebration... they turn 6!!!!  They are kicking off their celebration by having some fun challenges.  The first one is to create a black & white card.    Even though there was no coloring involved & only one dp drawer to look through, I still had a hard time trying to decide which set to use!  LOL!

FTTC#215 Around the House

This week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge was to use something found around the house.  I cleaned out my pantry & found this box of tea bags & they have expired.  Rather than toss it out, I decided to use one of the bags to tea stain my c/s for this challenge.  A side benefit was my cardstock smelled really nice for a little while.  You can still smell faint traces of vanilla & caramel if you sniff really hard.

FLLCJAN13 Flourishes LOVE

It's release week again at Flourishes!!!!  I'm excited to see what goodies they will be coming out with this month.  The challenge was to create a card with Love letters, the theme of love, or pinks & reds. I pulled out this stamp set & decided to make a birthday card with it, since we all LOVE to receive cards for our birthday.  (any day, really!)    I made it in the shades of pink.   I know it might be stretching it a little, but I couldn't think of anything else since my football team lost tonight.  Ack!   I should have gone to bed long ago,  we have an early, early day tomorrow going to a competition, but I wanted to get this card finished.
