It's beginning to look & feel like spring!!! We have already made it up into the 80's already!

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, we are moving. My hubby took a new job in a different town. He has already gone ahead of us & the boys & I are having *lots* of fun packing. I hope to be back soon posting on a regular basis again.

STVSKSP10 Daisy

I made this for the sketch challenge on Stamptv. Can you believe that it's been 24 days into the new year & this is the first time I've pulled out this daisy?? I'm still pulling out things from my stash to use. I have placed one order, using a gc from Christmas... but I'm still waiting on it to arrive.

I was glad that the sketch was an easy one. I dislocated my shoulder over the weekend & it gets sore after a little while. For some reason, house work doesn't seem to bother it like stamping & typing.

Daisy Birthday

Daisy in Navy & Yellow

I was chatting with a friend earlier & mentioned that I wasn't feeling any of the challenges tonight. She suggested "my" daisy! *wink* I was shocked because she gives me a hard time about my daisy, just like I give her a hard time about pink. She challenged me to pair it with navy. I had this panel left over from Gina's Inspire challenge, so I used it with the navy. I asked her if it was okay to use 8 brads on a card... she said, "Have I not taught you anything?!" Now, I know that was her PC way of saying, "Ummm... 9 brads, not 8!!!" *wink* Well, I just couldn't get 9 brads on here. BUT, I did pop up the sentiment!!!! :)

STVCCSB10 Daisy in Sage

This week's color challenge over at stamptv is sage, yellow & black. As soon as I read that, my favorite daisy came to mind. I do like the way this turned out. It looks completely different than the other cards I have made with it. Have I told you how much I {heart} this daisy! :)

The flower seeds that I planted a week & a half ago have already peeked out of the dirt. My boys are so excited! They keep wanting to take the plastic cover off of the little greenhouse. I have to remind them that it's like opening the oven door or taking the lid off of the crockpot. You just can't do that. I can't wait until we can plant them in pots.
