Now, for the "plus" part... I subscribe to the blog House of Hepworths & she had a tutorial for Dollar Tree wreaths. I HAD to make these!!! I've been wanting to do something for the outside of our house, but didn't want to spend a ton. I never know how long we are going to be in one place & often what works for this house doesn't for the next. So she had me at "Dollar Tree"!!!!! I got 2 made with supplies that I already had & will pick up supplies tomorrow when we get to a town that actually has a Dollar Tree. I'm so, so excited!!! Thank you so much, Allison!!!!

The Free For All Challenge on Stamp tv is to make a 10 min card!!! I only colored with 2 different copics, no shading, nothin' extra! There wasn't time to add bling either!!

Stamptv Color Challenge

This week's Inspiration Challenge on Stamptv was a red & white picture. I decided to use the Enjoy the Sunshine kit. There is a new kit coming out on the 27th & I'm sure that I'll be wanting it!!! The inspiration photo took me down memory lane. My Grandmother had a metal pan that was white with a red ring around the top. Isn't it funny how the mind works?

Gina K. Design Team Challenge

The Gina K. Design Team Challenge was to create a card featuring our favorite summer memory.

One of my favorite things about summer is the fresh fruit... dark red cherries, juicy peaches with juice running down your chin & arm, cantaloupe, watermelon, and berries... all kinds of yummy berries.

I remember one summer, when my parent's were pastoring a church in a small town in Kansas, we went over to some friends house & picked berries in a field across the road from their house. We met my parent's in AR one summer & picked peaches. Now, we don't live very far from the peach capital of Oklahoma, so we try to go over there several times to buy peaches.

But this year's memories have to do with strawberries. My boys wanted some strawberry plants, so we bought 8. I don't know how many days they come running in the house to tell me how wonderful the strawberries are, they are eating them as fast as they are turning red & they aren't sharing!!!!! :D They are having so much fun watering the plants, chasing the squirrels away & just enjoying eating them. I hope to get some pictures... if they will warn me they are going out to check the plants!! LOL!

I'm hungry for some fresh fruit now! *wink*
