CASE'ing Jeanne Streiff

I was blog hopping today & ran across a fabulous card. I liked the layout, the colors... well everything so much that I decided to CASE it. You can see the card on Jeanne Streiff's blog Inky Paws


I didn't have the stamp set that she used, so I changed that, changed the dp & layered it. Thanks Jeanne so much for the inspiration... I really needed it today!!!

More Geraniums

I had to make a post office run today & on our way home, we noticed a new place open for business in our tiny little town. It's a nursery, the flower kind!!! :) We had to stop today & ended up bringing home a few more flowers. My hubby just smiled at my haul!!! :) He had already seen the new seeds that I planted today... I had ordered some seeds on ebay & part of them arrived today. We are going to have flowers everywhere!!! :D :D

I tried to sponge around this image & it was a little splotchy. It does show up better in real life, I have the hardest time getting the sponging to show up in my photos. (I am going to retake the picture tomorrow morning in the natural light.)

FTTC60 Inspiration Geranium

After the previous boy post, I decided I needed to go the opposite & went with pink for the geraniums. The geraniums on my deck that the raccoon ate were supposed to look like these.

I made this card for this week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. It was a Inspiration Challenge, you can see it here I chose the bottom photo. I liked the pink flowers on the bedspread & the square tiles on the floor.

Geraniums

These geraniums look like one of my plants. I have managed to keep it alive this winter. It even bloomed in my dining room. It's the only one that bloomed inside. (the cardstock matches the dp, but I can't get my lighting right. l'll take another picture tomorrow in the natural light. )
