The sketch is for the Gina K. new release sketch challenge on SCS & for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges which was to use red as the main color.

I sponged the image, but you really can't tell it from this picture. Guess next time I'll have to use a darker shade.

Summer Harvest Sketch Challenge Card

I decided to pull out this image from the Summer Harvest stamp set. I'm trying to use my summer images before it's time to pull out more fall things. It's still summer here in Oklahoma, so it doesn't seem like fall. I'll still be using my summer things this month at least! ;)

I found a tutorial coloring the strawberries with copics here I like how the strawberries turned out... they looked better before I put the crystal effects on them. But, the leaves... well, let's just say that I need another tutorial!!! :)

Another Cherry Card

I made this card for the Potluck Friday challenge on Stamptv. It was to create something with food on it. After seeing the cards made with Gina K.'s new green color last night, I decided to pull out my Kiwi Kiss. (I guess I don't have to hoard it any more! ;) )
I added crystal effects to the cherries. I know I had another cherry card just the other day, but this one has a different feel, even though I used the red check dp with it.
