CAS392 For You

This week's CAS challenge over on SCS is diagonal stripes.  I'm getting a little low on generic note cards, so that was my thought process when I sat down to create this card.  The next 8 weeks are a little nutty for us & I know I'm gonna want some cards to send out.  I can get them in the mail so much faster if I have a stash.

MMTPT422 For Anne

There is a weekly challenge on Splitcoast, on Tues that is called the Tea Pot Tuesday challenge.  Each week, there is a different person selected where cards can be sent.  This week's person is Anne Ryan.  Her husband passed away earlier in the month.  I wondered if he did.  And I've thought about her over the last few weeks.  Normally, Ann comments on my cards in the gallery & not just my card but LOTS of people's cards.  She is amazing how she encourages people with a sweet comment on their card.  I knew her husband was very sick & when she stopped commenting on my cards, I wondered if something had happened.  I'm so glad that she is the focus of this week's Tea Pot Challenge.

Power Poppy Power & Spark + Double D

I combined 2 challenges for this card.  The Double D challenge was polka dots, of course I'm in!!  LOL  The Power Poppy Power & Spark for this month is to C.S.I.  Copy, Steal & be Inspired.  I LOVE so many of the DT's cards & have them saved for inspiration.  This card was inspired by Cheryl's card.....
My image was a little larger than hers, so I changed the oval to a circle.  Cheryl is one of the sweetest & encouraging women around blog land.

DTGD16jentimko & Penny Black Saturday Challenge

I combined Jennifer's DTGD challenge with this month's Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  While I can't share the details of the DTGD challenge, I can tell you the Penny Black challenge theme was your favorite technique.  I went with a CAS layout & used my copics to color the image.  99.9% of all of my cards involve coloring.
