Flourishes Designer Focus ~ Julie

Flourishes has a new challenge for Friday's. It's a Designer Focus where they will give a little bit more info on a DT member & showcase several of their past creations.  The challenge is to CASE one of their creations.  I chose the 3rd card of Julie's to CASE.  I kept the layout the same & the colors, but I changed the papers, stamp set & the sentiment.

May Birth Flower Lily of the Valley

At one point, May was absolutely packed with birthdays.  Now, I have a few but not nearly as many.  I don't always make cards with the birth month flower, but this time it worked out.

Ice Cream, Anyone?

I made this for the mini vsn last month & never did share it here.  I worked on cards for the Main VSN event, June 7 & 8 & didn't get a brand new card made.  There will be 17 challenges between the 2 days.  Hope you can come join in the fun! I'll remind you as it gets closer. *grin*

WT427 May Flowers

 Today's Ways to Use it challenge was all about May Flowers.   We had a slow start to our warm weather but now it's here in full force.  We have 3 days of over 100* temps in the forecast for the next week.  My flowers are loving it!

I'm still working on the Use Every Stamp challenge.  It doesn't mean that I'm on a spending freeze, it just means that I'm trying to use more of the stamps that I already have.  I definitely have some go to stamps, but I'm trying to get some ink on a few more.   And I'm definitely NOT counting my stamps!  *grin*

FTTC220 Blue & Green

This week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday's challenge was a color challenge, blue & green.  I was reminded of my Grandma while I was making this.  She used to say that it could be any color as long as it was blue!  LOL!!!

I love this image!  I blame... ahem... I mean credit Tammie E. that this is a part of my collection.  *grin*   I've recently been added as a coordinator for VSN over at Splitcoaststampers.  Tammie has been a hostess the last several times & her cards always get my wallet into trouble.  (okay, okay... so she wasn't in my craft room twisting my arm, it just felt like it!  *grin*  )   If you haven't seen her creations, you need to go to her gallery & see them.

C4C185 Inspiration

When I saw the inspiration photo for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges theme, I thought of this dp.  I don't use a lot of orange & this piece has been in my scrapbox for awhile.  I've used several other papers in the pad & this orange piece came loose.  The pattern kind of looks like the star fish in the picture.
