#copicthinkpink is donating $1 to breast cancer research for every pink image shared on Instagram until Sept 30. I combined it with the current The Flower Challenge. I’m not a big fan of pink, but since breast cancer has touched my family, I will be happy to bring out the pink.
I scheduled this post & it disappeared!!! The theme for the current Cardz 4 Galz challenge is vellum. I haven’t used vellum in forever!! I used a piece of snowflake printed vellum & used a distress ink on the back of it.

I combined Marg's VSN Color challenge with this week's Freshly Made Sketch. I had to dig to find some purple cardstock. I don't make many purple cards & this week I've made 3... think I've hit my quota for the year! LOL
It's time for another challenge over at Cardz 4 Galz! This time the them is "Party time". I'm inking up this set for the first time. I LOVE the sets from Art Impressions. They crack me up! I hope you'll join us!

copics, crystal accents
It's time for a new challenge at "Cardz 4 Galz". The theme this time is ribbon/lace trim. As you can see I went all out on my ribbon. *roll eyes* I had this planned in my head & when I got ready to put it together, I realized my image panel covered up almost all of the ribbon. I hope you will join us & show us that I NEED to add more ribbon to my cards!!
Stamps: Poppy Trio Penny Black
c/s: white, black
copics, red grosgrain ribbon
I’m a bit behind in my blogging this month. VSN was a week ago & while I have the greatest of intentions of blogging those cards, there are a lot of them! This week’s CAS challenge on SCS is to use the negative die. This die is one I had to have as soon as I saw it, and then I didn’t do anything with it.
Sentiment is from Hero Arts
Die: Heart of Flowers Simon Says Stamp
C/s: White, yellow, black
Black Crystal Nuvo drops
The current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge is ~Anything Goes/Spring ~ I have soooo many options for this theme, but decided to go with this image. I'm still trying to use different stamps instead of reaching for the same ones all of the time.
This month’s CAS Watercolor Challenge theme is ~ Poppy. I’ve had this poppy from Unity Stamp confor awhile. The stamps are bigger than I expected & haven’t pulled them out to play with them. When I saw this Challenge, I was inspired to play. I still need lots of practice for my background watercoloring skills... my attempts look like something a kindergarten student would make. But I am practicing. Loll & Karen make it look sooooo incredibly easy! I had a bit of red go rogue, so a few strategically placed Nuvo drops & you can’t even tell!!
Stamps: Wild & Free Unity Stamp Co
C/s: white, Black
Tim Holtz distress inks, water color brush
I was asked recently how I decide what challenges I play in. I have a list of favorites that I keep a running list of the current theme... right now I have 13 challenges on my list that I could play in. More often than not, I have more challenges than time. I typically look at my list as I’m winding down for the night & decide which one that I’m going to go with. If I have the decision made, it helps my crafting time go much smoother. I may even stamp my image. Most of the time, my system works really well for me. And then there’s this one... I had a challenge in mind, stamped my image & even colored it... then yesterday, I decided the image was too big for the Sketch Challenge. Looked for a different image & couldn’t find one I liked. So I changed challenges... I stamped this Peony & colored it. I needed a thank you card, so that narrowed down the sentiment. Then as I’m putting my card together, I start second guessing myself... the challenge was an inspiration challenge... but if you put my card next to the inspiration piece I chose, could someone else see what inspired me?? (Ugh!!! Over think much??!!). So I went back to my challenge list & saw that there was a challenge for florals... great! I don’t have to worry about the Sketch or the inspiration. And I finished my card, so I can write in it & get it in the mail... which is the whole reason I started this craft!! Lol. The current Crafter’s Cafe Challenge is ~Easter and/or florals.
Stamps: Sugarpea Pretty Peonies
C/s: white, Black
Copics, wink of Stella glitter pen, oval nestabilities
This week's CAS challenge is ~ Easter Celebrations. I combined it with this month's Penny Black Saturday Challenge ~ Fresh Spring Colors. One of the great things about Easter being late, is I actually get a few extra cards made. #100dayproject
Virtual Stamp Night (VSN) started today over at SCS. This challenge was a sneak peek for the Fan Club members. The challenge will go live tomorrow for non-fan club members. I haven't inked up this stamp ever. I've had a chance to do that with several other stamps for this vsn, I love it when that happens!

I've combined 2 challenges with this card: Allsorts~ Yellow and Little Red Wagon ~ Anything that hops It's been forever since I've used this stamp!! Today is day 1 of #100DayProject. I’m really excited about it!
