Here's another card made using one of the CPS anniversary sketches. This is one that Jennie chose... CPS170.
I printed out some of the digital papers that Gina K. has for free & decided to use one of them on this card. Love the black & white!! I love, love this set from Flourishes!
Every year, I tell myself I am not going to be in this situation... ya know... the one where you have more birthday, Christmas, thank you, etc. cards all at once... I have some of my cards made, but right now I am thinking that direction. 
This week's Timeless Tuesday challenge is to add embossing to your project, wet or dry. Since I almost always emboss my whole panel, I decided to do something a little different & emboss just a strip of cardstock.
I made this card for her in mind.
Have you seen the Flourishes sneak peeks? They look beautiful!!! I cut the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sweet Violets set so I can use it in an oval.
I missed the Flourishes Release Party last night because of the severe weather. My internet satellite didn't like the hail so much! 
I had an idea in my mind for a card... and well... this just wasn't it!!!! I do think I have a new record for me for the number of layers on one card!!
This week's Timeless Tuesday challenge was to use buttons. I saw a bunch of purple tulips while I was doing my grocery shopping. I thought they looked so pretty, even though I'm not normally drawn to purple... I think it was because it means that spring is on the way! *grin* 
Please ignore the glare on the card. I'm in a hotel room, stamping with my good friend Lee Murphy & the lighting in here isn't very good! I put my card on the window ledge to get some natural lighting. 
For the 6th Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge, we were encouraged to use our Favorite Flourish sets/stamps. It wasn't a difficult decision for me, I knew that I would use the tulip from the Thank You set. 
I've got quite a few birthdays for Feb. I'm trying to get a head start on the month. I'm ready for spring, can you tell? ;) 
This is for the sketch challenge for Crazy 4 Challenges #20 & also squeaking under the wire for this week's Stamp Simply Challenge. It was to use a floral theme & spring time colors. I know that pastel colors are typical of spring, but I LOVE red tulips. When a friend of mine called today to say that she saw red tulips for sale at the store, I was motivated to create a red tulip card. 
This week's Timeless Tuesday Challenge is in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. We were to use pink on our cards. This is something that is near & dear to my heart. I have had several family members that have had breast cancer. Make sure you do a self-breast exam & if you are old enough to do a mammogram, please get yourself checked. (I apologize for the poor picture quality. I need to figure out a better lighting system. )
