It has been a crazy week! Crazy!!!

gkdfeb11gs Daffodils

The color challenge for the Gina K. new release is green, yellow + 1 neutral. I have been trying to pull out some of the stamps that haven't had any ink this year. These daffodils jumped out at me. I'm starting to see some green shoots in the yard, so maybe I'll be seeing some beautiful flowers soon.

MMSC91

I've been looking for a sketch that I could use several times. My son has another archery competition this Sat. & I wanted to be able to take several images to color with the plans of using the same layout for all of them. It would be nice to come back & quickly put together 5 or 6 cards. When I saw the Midnight Madness Sketch for this week, I knew it would fit the bill.

Stamps: In Full Bloom
C/S: Rose Romance, Black, White
Copics, border scallop pounch, spica glitter pen, black brads, Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder, gingham ribbon.

Bloomin' Beautiful

I actually got a card made on Friday for Forgotten Stamp Friday!!! It's also for this week's CCEE challenge. They are featuring tools during the month of February & this week's tool is embossing folders. What did we do before embossing folders???

Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful
c/s: Bubblegum Pink, black, white
copics, Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder, black saddlestitch ribbon, black pearls

The photo on the bottom is my oldest son. He has his first archery competition tomorrow & he is super nervous. We were told that there would be 1500-1700 competitors there tomorrow! We have a set of work lights that are aimed at his target. He stands in the driveway 20 yards away from the target. It has been COLD here, in fact you can see a little bit of snow still on the ground. We have fabulous spring like weather in the 10 day forecast & we are all excited about that. Even though, Kevin & I aren't shooting, one of us stands out there with him to act as coach. BRRRR!!!
