January Birthday

2017 was a year filled with bumps & dents.  I know you can restart at any time, but there is such hope of a new beginning with the New Year.    I have spent some time over the past few days coming up with my stamping goals for 2018 &  THE main thing is to actually get cards in the mail.  I have other goals, but getting cards in the mail on time is my mail goal.  This card is going in the mail for a birthday for the first week of Jan.  I may not get every card all year long in the mail on time, but I'm feeling excited about the first card!!  LOL

Skating Fun

On Dec 8, we received a tiny, tiny bit of snow.... only if you looked really closely & if you saw it before it was on the ground very long.  It melted & didn't accumulate.  The weather forecast is wonky for this next week... one day is supposed to be 73* & then Christmas Day looks like it might spit a little bit of snow.

Holiday Song

At the beginning of 2017, I set a goal to use 52 different House Mouse stamps.  (I have been collecting them for 20 years, so I have a few.  *cough* *cough*)  Now, as 2017 is coming to a close, I'm a little short of my goal.  You may be seeing more House Mouse cards before the year ends!

Masterpiece Inspired

I made this for 2 challenges:  The VSN theme at SCS is "Game Night"  Angie's theme was a game I had never heard of called "Masterpiece"  She gave us 5 different masterpieces to get inspiration from.  The one I chose was "Paris Street; Rainy Day by Gustave Caillebotte, 1877".   You can upload until Dec 17th, so come play with us!  I combined it with the current Color Throwdown
