Cute Card Thursday 639 ~ Summer

June Penny Black & More

The June Penny Black & More Challenge is all about your fav PB stamps.   When I first found a Penny Black Stamps, I fell in love with the hedgehogs.  I remember trying to decide on which ones to buy.  It was a hard decision!!  I have expanded my collection of Penny Black stamps to include more than just hedgehogs (have you seen the sneak peeks??!!  I spied some new hedgehogs!!! )

June’s The Flower Challenge is navy + 1.  I used Tim Holtz Faded Jeans distress ink & a waterbrush to create the blue.  I let each layer dry before adding more color.

I don’t make cards with fancy folds so when I first saw the current challenge theme, I was a little intimidated.  Then after I had a breath (or two) I remembered how easy the gate card was.  I didn’t have to do any weird math or crazy angles!!!    That blue for my background is the new Tim Holtz speckled egg!!!  I hope you’ll join us at Cardz 4 Galz!
