CAS471 Cheesy Gift

This week's CAS challenge over at SCS is to have a colored base card, no white.  I very rarely make a card with a colored base.  I decided to keep the base red... not too dark so I didn't have to add an extra piece on the inside of the card.

Ready for spring!

I've been seeing signs of spring... Redbud & Bradford trees have blooms & the jonquils!!!  I'm ready for the warm weather to stay! 

This month's Power Poppy Power & Spark is "Love to Sparkle".  I have wink of Stella glitter pen ALL over this image & couldn't get it to show up in the picture.  (If you have any tips, please share!) I combined it with the VSN Mini Challenge "Don't Bug Me".

Dylan saw this image & said, "That looks really cute, but aren't you going to color the other hearts?"  He didn't believe me when I told him that there were white conversation hearts... he had to google it!!  LOL

I don't use distress markers very often, they are "messy" & I end up outside of the lines.  January seems to be light on birthday/anniversary cards, but need a lot of thinking of you cards.
