This is card #7 in my 31 card challenge. Someone asked me if it was tough... not yet! But, I'm sure it will get there at some point.
Lee gave out a challenge to create a card adding some sparkle. I decided to make it pink while I was at it! *wink* The ribbon matches much better in real life. 
This morning was a gray, rainy morning & about the time I was going to wrinkle up my nose I looked out on the deck. I saw my red geraniums... they seemed to be a lot brighter against the gray backdrop!!! I just had to stop & say a prayer of thanksgiving. I am so glad that God created the world in color!!
I got this card made last night & got ready to take a picture of it, only to discover that my camera battery was dead. This isn't for any challenge, it was just something I was in the mood to color. This is card #4 in my 31 card challenge.
This month's theme for Gina's DT Challenge & Blog Hop is favorite fall memory. Fall around our house means FOOTBALL!!! :D We are a house divided, hubby & I wear our team colors with great pride! We may cheer for different teams, but we do enjoy our favorite football snack... apples with caramel. Not the ones with the whole apple & caramel around the outside of the apple with a stick, no there's not enough caramel on those!!!! You have to cut up the apple & dip the slices into the caramel. yummmmmm!!!!! I colored a few apples golden because all 4 of us have a different favorite variety of apples. And we never turn down Apple Crisp, Apple Bread, Apple Cake... :D :D 
This was harder than I thought... I have used 2 different stamp sets. That means, these 2 can not be used again during this challenge. {Gulp!} 
This month's technique challenge on the JUGS blog was the cracked glass technique. I didn't have any Ultra Thick Embossing Powder, so I did layers & layers & layers of regular embossing powder. I really need to buy some UTEE just to have. I even liked the image just with the layers of embossing powder over it. I've been looking through my stamps to see what images I have for Fall. I really love this black-eyed Susan, but for some reason I only use it in the Fall. Our temp today was 93* & is supposed to be similar tomorrow. It's hard to think about Fall, when it still feels like summer!
The theme for the CCEE challenge is teddy bears in honor of Teddy Bear Day. This little bear is made by Lili of the Valley. They have some really cute stuff!!
Here is my take for this week's Mercy's Tuesday Sketch I don't know if you can see, I added some sparkle with a atyou Spica pen. I pulled out Melanie's set again. I LOVE this set!!!
This week's Crazy 4 Challenges theme is Book Related. I hate mice, but I think this little mouse is super cute! Falling asleep while reading a good book, sounds like a good plan!!! 
These are some pictures I took yesterday. It started with me taking a picture of Dylan because of his shirt. Then Devin wanted a picture! The bottom picture is Dylan getting his $100 gift card for saving ONE MILLION points at church. He has been saving his points since last December & got it yesterday. We had a stop to make after church yesterday & then went immediately to Wal-Mart!!! I was very impressed with the items he bought, but a little sad that not one item came from the toy dept. My 6 year old has already outgrown the toys! He still has money left, so we'll see how long it will last!! *smile* 
I made this for this week's Stamp Simply Falling Leaves challenge. I'm still not ready for Fall, but I'm trying!!! I am ready for football season, though!!!! BOOMER SOONER!!!
