Giovana's GKD release day challenge was to make a project with a flower on it. I pulled out the poppies again. Our weather was 67* today!!! *grin* That is my kind of winter!!! :D
The color challenge on SCS was to use Bashful Blue, Night of Navy & white. I pulled out this sweet polar bear again! *grin*

Since this week can be kind of busy, my challenge to the Flybabies on SCS was to create a card using a stamp/stamp set that hadn't seen any ink. I've had this little dude for a little while & haven't inked him up. No time like the present! :D
The Free 4 All Challenge on SCS was to create a card using a winter flower. I chose the mistletoe. The boys & I had just been talking about it being the Oklahoma State Flower. 
This week's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge was to create 2 different projects using the same image, but to make them opposite. 
This week Jessie challenged us to create project based on our favorite Christmas movie. I chose "White Christmas".

This is another Dec. birthday card. I made it following the sketch for this week's Our Creative Corner challenge & added the bling to "decorate" it up a bit! 
I made this card for Lee's challenge on Stamptv to make a card with summer colors. 
No white stuff for us yet... and that's quite okay with me!!! *grin* There are warnings & watches around us, but I think we are safe... this round!
We haven't seen any of the white stuff but it has gotten chilly. I haven't turned on the heater yet, but I don't dilly dally around in the morning!!! *grin*
Did you go shopping today? I wasn't going to go out, but my boys kept talking about what we did last year. So, we did get out. We waited until 10am & missed most of the crazies. :D
I made another red & green floral card to use for December birthdays. I also pulled out the eyelets for this card... I don't use them very often & yet I still can't get rid of them. 
The challenge on Stamptv was to CASE Emily. I kept the layout, but changed the dp, the stamp set & the colors.
Every year, I tell myself I am not going to be in this situation... ya know... the one where you have more birthday, Christmas, thank you, etc. cards all at once... I have some of my cards made, but right now I am thinking that direction. 
Okay, so I didn't wait very long before making the shift to Christmas... but it's what came to mind when I saw the challenge. *grin*
Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving?! I decided I better pull out a fall stamp & use before it's time to shift gears. 
I made this for one of the HYCCT challenges on SCS. The challenge was to make a project out of our comfort zone. I chose no coloring. I couldn't even tell you how long it's been since I haven't colored when making a card. 
The Pink Elephant challenge this week is to use embossing... dry or heat. I decided to ink up this Hello Cupcake stamp.
Lee challenged us to make a project using 11 for 11-11-11. 
My boys are blessed in so many ways. They have incredible men in their lives... strong men, men of integrity, men who are leaders, men who pour into their lives. Today, we want to say thank you to one of those men. We met Mr. Jay at our lifegroup at church. We got to spend time with him & his wife, before they took an assignment to D.C. 
It release time at Flourishes!!!! The challenge for today was to create a project using red, white, & soft green.

The challenge was to create a collage type project. This stumped me for a little while & then I remembered this stamp from Penny Black. I bought it & haven't used it. It came in handy! *grin*
I'm still trying to finish up the HYCCT challenges. You'll be seeing pink from me for a little while longer & then I hope to be using some other colors! *wink*

Isn't this penguin the cutest?!! I made this card for the HYCCT challenge to "Give 'em a Squeeze"... to add a dry embossing element to our project. 
Monday's Mix It Up challenge on stamptv was to create a project using at least one snowflake. I'm so not ready to think about snow... as fast as this year is flying by, I know that it will be that time soon. We are just getting some nice fall weather that I hope we get to enjoy for a few weeks (months) before the white stuff starts falling. But, on the positive side... it did get me to pull out a set that I haven't used in awhile! *grin*

Yep! Another pink card. This one is for the HYCCT1104 challenge not to use bling on our card. 
Last night when Dylan saw me making this card, he said, "Another pink card??? You have got to be kiddin' me!" He has seen the NFL players wear their pink & we have talked about breast cancer awareness, but he didn't realize it was the whole month of Oct. He wanted to know if I could make pink cards all month. I'm not sure... but it's for a good cause, so I'll give it a shot! *wink*
I made this for the Hope You Can Cling to Challenge to make your critter-- of any kind, pink. My boys love turtles & thought it was so cool for this one to be pink! (My cardstocks match better...)
