Timeless Tuesday #127 Inspiration Photo

This week's Timeless Tuesday challenge is an Inspiration challenge. It was all about purple.

While I was putting this card together Devin asked why I had cut my circle the way I did. He thought I was a genius! I'm sure that others have thought of this, but I am going to share anyway. The dp I used was from a paper pack that also had solid color matching paper. It only had one sheet & I wanted to use it as a layer & as my scallop nestie. So I cut the paper the size I needed for my 2nd layer. Then I cut the scallop nestie out of that layer. (it looks like it was really close, but I did measure before I cut... measure twice, cut once... ) When I put my card together, you can't tell that I used part of the purple layer as my nestie scallop.

Stamps: Calendar Set 1
c/s: cream
DP: Latte Matstack
purple brads, circle nestabilities, copics

A card a day keeps the mojo flowin'... until next time!

This is so pretty! I do this with just about all my cards...saves on CS plus keeps the weight down if you do lots of players ect...
