I would love to be able to grow some poppies. I always color them red, even though I know they come in other colors. (just some random thoughts there! *wink* )
I watched this youtube video for the tutorial on coloring skin. It definitely helped!!! 
I started this card on Friday & finally got it finished. It has been a crazy few days, but I had on my list for today to clear off my desk... so I just *had* to finish this! *grin*
The Totally Gorjuss challenge this week was no dp!!!! *grin* My kind of challenge!!! At A Gem of A Challenge it was to use pearls. I didn't use very many, but they are there! :D
In my quest to use up some of my dp before buying more, I have this stack of... purple dp! Since purple is not my favorite, I'm going to use some of it to get rid of it! *grin*
I missed the Flourishes Release Party last night because of the severe weather. My internet satellite didn't like the hail so much! 
I'm trying a new system for my cards. Hopfully, you won't notice anything... except for cards being posted more frequently again! *grin* I'm going to post them in the morning. I prefer the natural light much better then the lighting I have. Even after trying 4 different things that people have suggested, I'm not happy with the lighting. If I post them in the morning, I can use natural light & I like that much better. 
I love how the blue pops with the green & brown! I didn't have any blue ribbon to match & now that I'm looking at my card, I realize I didn't get the copic ink even in a couple of spots. I'm not going to rip it apart now! 
Happy Spring!!! I hope it's spring where you live... if you enjoy warmer weather! *grin* I am enjoying the birds & flowers, being able to wear my flip flops... ahhhh! *grin* 
Lee challenged the Flybabies to make a card using pink, yellow & green. So this is my take on that challenge. I added some clear spica glitter pen to the flowers but it doesn't show up. 
I thought as things started slowing down with archery, life in general would slow down.... hahahaha... what was I thinkin'??!!! I finally, got a card stamped tonight.
