A Million Thanks

This month’s CAS Watercolor Challenge theme is ~ Poppy.  I’ve had this poppy from Unity Stamp confor awhile.  The stamps are bigger than I expected & haven’t pulled them out to play with them. When I saw this Challenge, I was inspired to play. I still need lots of practice for my background watercoloring skills... my attempts look like something a kindergarten student would make. But I am practicing. Loll & Karen make it look sooooo incredibly easy!  I had a bit of red go rogue, so a few strategically placed Nuvo drops & you can’t even tell!!

Stamps: Wild & Free Unity Stamp Co
C/s: white, Black
Tim Holtz distress inks, water color brush

Until next time!

Red is apt to go rogue, but I don't see any signs of it, Misti! This is a beautiful watercolor poppy! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!

I too find red a hard colour to control. And it's hard to watercolour such a large image. But you did a good job with it! A beautiful popppy! Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Watercolour!
